Super 8 by Wyndham - Augsburg, Germany - Hotel Photography

Another Super 8 in Germany! This was a brand new Super 8 in Augsburg, Germany. Though my architectural photography practice is based in Toronto, I have been living in Germany for 2020, so I hopped on a train to Augsburg and started shooting! They had free bike rentals here, so I had a blast buzzing around town on a bike and exploring the historic city centre.

Ramada - Budapest, Hungary - Hotel Photography

My first time in Budapest and I was lucky enough to photograph the Ramada Budapest City Center. While I am a photographer based in Toronto, I have been living in Germany for 2020. This allowed me to hop on a flight to Budapest and shoot this property. Thanks to the ongoing pandemic, the hotel was mostly empty and the streets free of the usual tourist traffic. This lead to a very unique experience in the city. I can’t wait to return and experience the usual hustle and bustle. Beautiful city and hotel, I highly recommend.

Super 8 - Mainz, Germany - Hotel Photography

Super 8s in Germany are built different! Though my architectural photography practice is usually based out of Toronto, I have been living in Germany for 2020 and had the pleasure of traveling to Mainz to photograph a new Super 8 that was recently opened there. Mainz is a quaint town that happens to be the birthplace of Gutenberg. I had a blast, not only doing the German hotel photography, but also wandering the winding streets of the old town.

Homewood Suites by Hilton - Wilmington, DE - Hotel Photography

I flew out to Wilmington, Delaware to shoot a brand new Homewood Suites by Hilton Deleware, situated in the newly developed Riverside district. Though my architectural photography practice is based in Toronto, I’m always happy to hit the road and experience some new locations.

Hat-tip, as always, to Mother Nature for the killer sunset reflections on the evening that I chose to shoot the exterior.

Hilton Checkers - Los Angeles, California - Hotel Photography

I was fortunate to be selected to do hospitality photography at the iconic and historic Hilton Checkers in Downtown Los Angeles. This boutique hotel has over a century of history. It was filled with beautiful spaces and the rooftop patio was the literal cherry on top.
