The Chemist's Club Hotel - New York City, NY - Hospitality Photography (Copy)

I was recently hired to photograph the newly renovated Chemist’s Club Hotel in NYC. My architectural photography practice is based in Toronto, Ontario, so New York is just a quick flight away. I absolutely love this city, so it was a treat to spend ten days there photographing the Chemist Club.

This boutique hotel in midtown was a total rebrand and renovation from its previous iteration, which called for a LOT of new photo material. I couldn’t have done it without the help of Cheryl Nemazie, who was the stylist on the shoot.

I also had the opportunity to wander midtown and collect some destination images.

Grand Palladium Kantenah and White Sand - Riviera Maya, Mexico - Resort and Travel Photography

The final stop of my Mexican Resort Photography Tour is the Grand Palladium Kantenah and Grand Palladium White Sand resorts. There are some beautiful suites at these resorts. The rooftop pool will set you back a pretty peso, but look at those views!

I had a great time over the past month doing Mexico Resort Photography. I will be back in the spring to photograph the TRS Yucatan, which is currently under construction. And watch this space, where I will be sharing some lifestyle images which we shot at TRS Coral.

Grand Palladium Colonial - Riviera Maya, Mexico - Resort and Travel Photography

Next stop on the Mexico Resort Photography Tour 2024 is Grand Palladium Colonial Riviera Maya. A bit of a different vibe from the last stop, but beautiful nonetheless. The main thing about Mexican Resort Photography is that there are an abundance of sunrises and sunsets. Can’t let that light go to waste!

TRS Coral - Costa Mujeres, Mexico - Resort and Travel Photography

Next up on my Mexico Resort Photography Tour is the TRS Coral, just a quick cart ride away from the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres. What a stunning place. I could get used to this Mexican Resort Photography!

Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres, Mexico - Resort and Travel Photography

What a treat for me this month! I was hired to shoot two massive resorts in Mexico over the course of three weeks. Escaping the cold of Toronto, where my architectural photography practice is based, I flew down to Cancun and took a shuttle to Costa Mujeres, my first stop. Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres is a new resort where they filmed season two of Love is Blind! Golf carts buzz around this resort, whisking you from pool-to-buffet-to-beach-to-spa-back-to-pool. Paradise! There were a few close calls with hurricanes in the area, but for the most part, we got super lucky with the weather. See below for some highlight images from the first stop on my Mexico Tour 2024.

Vienna House Remarque - Osnabruck, Germany - Hotel Photography

The next and final stop on my German tour is the Vienna House Remarque in Osnabrück. Named after Erich Maria Remarque, a writer who was born in the town, it is on the opposite side of the city centre as the Vienna House Easy that I shot earlier in the week. Another excellent location. Gotta love when mother nature helps out with a rainbow on the signage shot! For now, I am off to Berlin for a few days, and then back to my hospitality photography practice in Toronto. Danke for following along on the latest European adventure. I’m sure I’ll be back soon!
